Before you start

Where do the prices come from?+

Recorded retailer listings where we have them — the cheapest is shown with a link straight to it. Everything else is an estimate compiled from published price trackers, marked with a ~ and last reviewed 2026-08-16. India shows nothing at all rather than a dollar price converted into rupees, which duty and GST would make wrong. Confirm at checkout either way.

Why are memory and storage so expensive?+

An AI-driven shortage. DRAM and NAND capacity has been diverted to high-bandwidth memory for AI accelerators, which is far more profitable than consumer parts. A 32GB DDR5 kit that was under $100 in 2025 now starts around $375, SSDs have roughly tripled, and GPUs with 16GB or more of VRAM have taken the worst of it. Reporting points to elevated prices into 2027.

Do you cover India?+

Yes — switch the region at the top of the tool and prices appear in rupees against Amazon.in and Flipkart listings. Indian coverage is being filled in part by part, and anything without a recorded price is shown as unpriced instead of guessed.

Do I need an account?+

No. The tool runs entirely in your browser and nothing is stored or sent anywhere.

Can I add a part that isn't listed?+

Not yet. The catalog covers current mainstream parts across every category; custom entries are on the list.

Is the compatibility check exhaustive?+

It covers the mistakes that actually cost money — socket, memory type, cooler mounting, case clearance, and power. It does not check BIOS revisions, RAM QVL lists, or radiator mounting positions.
